Senior Race Equality Officer to support the work of GREC by sharing responsibility for a range of staff and project management tasks. The post calls for energy, initiative and a willingness to work flexibly and outwith normal working hours. Duties will include assisting the Director in implementing a programme of work aimed at promoting equality of opportunity and good relations, and the elimination of race discrimination; to organise and facilitate focus groups, and carry out research and consultancy work; to manage projects and any related staff; and to contribute to training on equality issues to outside agencies. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a diverse workload, proven experience of managing and resolving conflicts, and a sound understanding of equality and “social” issues.

Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant to provide support to GREC personnel. Main duties include meeting and greeting all visitors, answering the telephone & directing calls, and general administrative duties. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills, have the ability to multi-task, and a good knowledge Microsoft Word (or equivalent). Previous experience of reception or administration work is required.
